As in good for backyard layers? They are good foragers, docile, even the roos tend to be friendly. Depends how you raise them. But they are the prettiest yard ornaments. Lol

Like, if I spoil them when young and care for them nicely and pick them up when young also will they most likely be tame?

Most likely. I've never seen a mean wyandotte ( except for one) no matter how it was raised.

Any bird can. Some are more flighty then others. But Wyandotte a are pretty laid back.

I would say wyandotte, but that's because they are my favorite breed. But cochins aka pekins. Are a good breed too. They would do well together... d'Arc let I have no experience with.
