I think it is the other way yours don't really look columbian. They should be black hackles and tail feathers like the other poster. Hatcheries don't produce quality birds they produce big numbers.my cw have some black on their beaks ..some more then others ..
these birds came from cackle ..they say on their site they have worked this breed for over 40 yrs ..
the pics you posted i thought looked like a diffrent kind of bird and not columbians..but i am new to this breed and just going by what i see...oh or are they silver laced wyandotte...
