So I just checked on my chicks who have been crowing and I think I might be seeing pointy saddle feathers and their tail feathers look like the are curving. Has anyone had a cockerel whose comb and wattles develops very late after 13 weeks.

I will try to take updated pictures tomorrow.

My Buff Wyandottes 13 weeks old. So are they cockerels?

This little one is 6 weeks tomorrow (photo taken last night) and is a wyandotte mix....his colors are interesting, so not sure what he will look like grown up (does he look like a cockerel?)

I figured he was a male, but the ladies in my states forum where saying pullet last week..

X3 My SLW hens are 16 weeks and their combs just turned red some of them still barely have a comb.

I understand mine (post above still have no comb or wattles) so they keep me guessing.

This chicks feathers look pointed in the pics so I'm guessing it's probably a roo
