and one of my silver laced (who always turns away so i can never get a picture with her face),



and my little roo who was a packing peanut that my son named avatar! he's 2 months old today. the ladies are about 2.5 months.

So, while I don't like to judge or question anyone, I would like a second opinion

I got these chicks from a nice lady who said they were BLRW and since I am rather desperate for some because of an unfortunate shipping experience, I bought them from her. Can you tell me if these are in fact BLRW?

In the third pic, its just the one with the brown on the wings. I know the buff one is either a orp or a wyandotte.

I clicked on all the pics, but it is hard to see. They're just a bit fuzzy.

In any event, the first few wing feathers of a BLRW may not have great lacing. They may be even a bit barred. The better quality birds will have the lacing show up sooner.

For an orp, you should expect a single comb. While you may get a Wyandotte with a single comb now and again, it not typical or desired.

The uncertainty of buying a straight run of BLRW about 10 weeks ago has yielded me seven roos and one pullet! They are from Blue Poultry and look to be very nice. Was wondering if anyone in the vicinity of Augusta, GA wanted to trade a pullet or two? If so I can post some pics of the "guys".

This is my bantie baby I brought home today...

She was sold as Patridge, and her body kinda is, although the rings are very indistinct. But her neck seems silver-laced? Any idea how that happened. I love her to bits already, she was overwhelmingly cuddly and docile while I clipped her wing and put her to bed (we got home after dark)
