sorry to hear it....hope you can get back on track and catch up. Reminds me of our ice storm 2 years ago. 3 incubators of eggs lost. We managed to save some chicks hatching in the hatcher by putting them in a metal pan with a towel and placed that over little candles.

Well I lost another girl BLR girl the other day to a darn hawk. They have been rough on them this year so I've had to close them back up for a while and they are not happy. This now puts me down to 4 girls with my 2 roos. I did get pics of the 2 boys though, the splash roo is from chicks from the Foleys and the nice BLR cockerell I hatched last year from him and some of the older pullets I had that were bought with the splash roo also.

that's a new picture I just took today. I think she is ready for spring though.....she likes to huddle under the heat lamp.

Well, I just candled eggs. I have a few CHAMPION Buff Wyandottes Bantam eggs with occupants! These are out of my Lou Horton line male and Andy Anderson line females. They are due to hatch next Sunday. Have some more that we set last Sunday. Not sure on them yet. I am using a single LED bulb flashlight. My candler broke. The Buff Wyandotte Bantams are laying better than anything at present. May have some eggs available soon.

ETA: I just placed a listing for Buff Wyandotte Bantam hatching eggs at http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160558460366&ssPageName=ADME:L:LCA:US:1123
