Therapy Fun! ~ It is not what you think haha!

Silver River, part of Silver Springs in Ocala, Florida. Where the Tarzan movies were filmed. Story has it some of the monkeys got loose and started a colony on the river. They are still there today. But it was a river boat tour captain that put some of the monkeys on one of the islands for the tourist. He did not know that they are good swimmers.

As you both can see from my user name, 5th generation Florida. If you look in the center of the state, I live on what is called Sugarloaf Mountain, Clermont. The highest point on the peninsula of Florida at a whopping 312 feet. I always joke if my place floods, I will be living on the New Georgia Keys, ocean front property for sale.

Now, about gait... I love my Rockys. Mine are super smooth and fast to boot. And No they are NOT All Chocolate...... I have 1 black Geld.,2 bay Mares, 1 Choc/Choc Geld., and 1 blue roan mare. I have some of the rarest bloodlines in the breed. The temperment and gait is what won me over. The very first RM I rode was a stallion. Asked the farmer if I had stupid tattooed on my forehead. He told me if he could not put a child on him, he would be a gelding and sold. They must have the best temperment, confirmation and gait first. Color is just topping.

I know some really great Pasos down here. Some of them have a fantastic largo on them. The fino horses are ok to watch, but do you really want to take all day to get from one end of the arena to the other. Jmo. And I really do have a need for speed.

Ok, what breeds do yall have??? The horse in me really wants to know...

ahhh mountains, home.     Rain

I have a quarter horse. Buckshot is my Malibu Pony (not really, he just thinks it). You can't even imagine how long it took us to teach him that his name is BUCKSHOT and not PRETTY BOY, even though his barn name had always been Buckshot, his pet name really got out of control.

Quarter Horses are nice for what I want to do: Trail Ride, work cattle occasionaly (He LOVES working calves), and a few shows. He is a huge turdbiter though, he knows how to open the gate and let everyone in the pasture....
