Well when I had a mouse in the coop my chickens had no idea it could be eaten nor cut fast little things but they will poop in every crease corner and crevice. And multiply. I made sure to get rid of mine just because mouse droppings have so many diseases

I just don't know how they could eat a mouse and get it down that little hole in their mouth! I know it happens but that opening looks so small!
Well, i heart Blanca chewing down on a mouse once: Crack! Crack! Crunch! Gulp!
She first crushed every bone in that poor mouse and then swallowed the little "pouch" of meat and bone matter whole. Thankfully for the mouse it was quick.

Thankfully they didnt eat the one we found. They must have given it a dunk in their water bowl, it was soaking wet and all ducks chasing each other trying to steal it from each other :sick Interesting and disgusting all at the same time.
A soaking wet mouse slides down a duck throat more easy! 🤢
Just don't imagine what else your ducks will find and eat and convert into wonderful tasty eggs…

😂 Blanca duck is not sharing her food with a little critter like that!! Even if it is Valentine's day!! One of the duckies will find it eventually!!
Valentine's Day? - That should mean more food for Blanca! 😂
And the mouse - i haven't seen it again during the last couple of nights, so it may already have returned to this world in form a of a tasty duck-egg.

Oh this guy sleeps in the attic the birds can't get in there and it's also 5' long so they all give it a wide berth. Not even sure Blanca would mess with it.
She would definitely try! - Or one of her sisters. And if all four join forces, i would not bet on that poor snake. When Blanca had that chipmunk my its tail, Earthquack and Bazilla were trying to snatch the other end and Alba was running towards her sisters. Had just one of the others been able to latch on, it would have been »bye bye chipmunk«!
I count my fingers every morning after the cat-food feeding frenzy…

Brave girls! My Muscovy ate a copper head but it was a baby. when they get 5-6' they don't mess with them they leave it up to me.
Aren't copperheads venomous? - That is one of my worst fears: Blanca trying to eat a venomous snake[ling], being bitten and poisoned. Sometimes having fear can safe your life.
