Haha! That is a BUNCHA chickens!

(I'm a lil jealous)

I’m having a really hard time. There is a lot of breeds out there but if I had to guess by their legs I would say an olive Egger or Easter Eggers. I’m not 100% sure of the all white one. But she is SUPER pretty!

I’m sure someone will have a better idea of what they are. I wish I could be more help!
I was thinking Eggers also, the legs are olive-ish…so must be the Dixie Rainbow!
If I tell ya I'll hafta kill ya. 🤣😂
You told! Number one rule, once you hit 20 stop counting! 😂😂

DH has said max of 5 more next year assuming no winter tragedies…I am having such a hard time figuring out which 5 breeds to add! Will be 5 single breeds so I can try out a bunch!

How are your turkens? That is number 1 on next years list so far…out of the 10 I have now, my 3 favorite breeds based on personality are the Sussex, Welsummer & Brahma although I love them all!

Awwww man. I didn't know the rule!!!! 🤣🤣

Do the bunch - five for a breed try out. That's basically what I am doing now to learn and see what my chicken jam is. I suppose 2024 I will know which I really like. I think will be Orpington, Brahma and Cochin 🤔.

Curious about the cream legbar and green queen breeds for now.

I got the silkies basically for my toy chicken. But I'm sure with everything that is supposed to be happening in 2023 as far as food supply I will get over having toy chickens in favor of a couple of breeds that supply eggs and meat-yeah boyyyyyy.

My Silkies lay every day when not broody. And they are THE best mamas!

Btw - Green Queens are hybrids. CCL is a breed. I love my CCL so far. Very cute with the silly hairdo and laid back personality. Looking forward to blue eggs! I got my first olive green eggs this past week from my Olive Egger!

Yeah I haven’t seen Dixie Rainbow a hole lot. I’m learning though to spot some different breeds. Either way I love the way these ones looks! I might have to get some of them myself!
