#2 I am thinking boy

#3, pretty sure boy. He has a shiny iridescent blue on his feathers

#4. I think girl

#5 hoping girl. She is the smallest (named her Nugget) and sweetest. The tail feathers are kinda long and curled though

#6 Thinking boy? three rows right?

#6 and 7 together

#7 maybe girl? I think she is the prettiest :) Sold as Ameracuana but was told she was an EE. I am ok with it now, but still sucks I overpaid. This one my daughter named Sweet Beaks.

The only ones that look like easter eggers to me are the orange ones. The others look just like my blue and black ameraucanas (pure). But I could be wrong.

What age are they? EEs can be a little tricky; can you get "aerial" photos that show (if present) hackle and saddle feathers? Good comb shots, though.
They are 10 weeks. So not to sound like a total moron, where are hackle and saddle feathers? Sorry, still new to chickens. One of them would be like long tail feathers right? I have looked them over and none have longer feathers than the others except Nugget who I had believed was a girl. She has a tiny bit longer feathers on her tail that curl down.

When I bought them they were supposed to be true Ameracaunas but when I posted them the first time when they were babies everyone said they were easter eggers. Now that they are bigger the blue and black did look like the pics I see of the Ameracaunas but I figured they were still not right.

I read somewhere that even pure Ameracaunas can have babies that do not have the right color so those would not be considered true to the breed. The guy I bought from had a lot of birds. He said he had saved 60 pullets from that hatching to take over his next years flock. I am pretty sure that he took the best coloring birds and was selling the extras. He must have had another breed bird in the mix somewhere because there are definitely some easter eggers there. Nugget, one of the blues does have some green on her legs. The others have all of the features that I read they were supposed to, but I am no expert and am probably missing something so sound like a complete idiot. I guess it really doesnt even matter. I am more interested in them being girls lol I am eating the eggs not their feather color.

1, 4, 5, and 7 are pullets. The others are cockerels. The male hackle and saddle feathers won't really be visible until after 12 weeks.
I was right! I guess 4 out of 7 being girls is better than it could have been. I had planned from the beginning to have 10 hens in my flock. I have 4 BO girls already. I had wanted the 4 BO, 4 Ameracuanas, and 2 silkies. I might change that to 2 Marens now. I will have to wait and see how these work out first.... and to rehome some boys!! I am not totally against boys I might keep one unless it gets aggressive.

And about the Easter Egger/Ameraucana thing, if they have yellow feet bottoms, they are Easter Eggers. Your golden ones are definitely Easter Eggers. If the boys start developing red patches on their wings or in their saddle feathers, they would also be considered Easter Eggers. Easter Eggers do tend to lay better than pure Ameraucana.
