They ate a mouse!

Our chickens have eaten a few mice over the years. They first beat it to a pulp and chase each other around the run with it, then one of them will down it whole. Snakes as well.

I found a dense wet clump of fur, today, that's why I'm curious. It was next to the water bucket but definitely wasn't there this morning

About an inch long or so?
No clue where else it could be from...
