Yippeeeeee! Meyer called this morning and said I should get my chicks next week - Thursday or Friday the 21st/22nd. My kids can hardly keep their minds on their lessons - and the same goes for me. Here's my small order:

    1 Barred Plymouth Rock
    1 Delaware
    1 Black Australorp
    1 Ameracaunas
    1 Rhode Island Red
    1 Buff Orpington

Oooo, I can just imagine those little chicks developing in their little eggs right now. Now what will we name them? My 3 oldest kids will get to choose names, but I suppose I will get to name the other 3. Oh boy Oh boy Oh boy! [IMG]

Looks like a great selection. I'm getting chicks the 20th. A local guy is getting over 3000 to resale, and only want $1 each.

How are you getting such a small order? I thought their minimum was 15 chicks.[IMG]
  5. They added this year:

In an effort to service customers with smaller needs we are introducing a new program that will allow customers to purchase as few chicks as of 3 birds.

By offering this service customer will incur a small order charges.

For orders less than 25 chicks, will incur a small order charge of $15.00

For orders less than 15 chicks, will incur a small order charge of $20.00

*This offer is not valid for orders that contain any of the following, (i.e. turkeys, ducks, geese, guineas, pheasants, quail, peafowl, and chukar partridge) you will still need to purchase the set minimum.

Small order charges include upgrade to Express shipping and a heating pad that is placed into the box for the chicks comfort.
