They don't like fruit

Do your girls like yogurt? Try mixing some fruit chunks with yogurt. They'll go in for the yogurt, but learn to love to fruit.

Have you tried apples? Watermelon?

I haven't tried those yet. Maybe I'll try some apple today. I have some of those kicking around. It's really really cold today, so maybe I'll put them in some warm oatmeal.

Mine are fussy as well. The only thing they really love is yoghurt. Plain. I tried Pineapple and other fruits but noooo . They don't even look at lettuce....or bread. They started to like the flock block a little I've put into their run.

Once I gave them mashed potatoes and they looked at me like I am some crazy lady.

mine love apples,I dice them up into small pieces to keep the fighting down and they never leave any

The only things my girls don't like is when I come down with nothing in hand. Although raw carrots are not high on the list but eventually disappear. I found that bread is high on the list, not that they get a lot but they seem to single that out no matter what is tossed out with it. Give them bread with a little olive oil on as maintenance to keep their crops clear.

Mine didn't love apples either. They didn't love bananas either although they pecked at it and then proceeded to wipe it off their beaks. They LOVED the grapes and of course the mealworms. They like strawberries and mushrooms too

mine love carbs...cooked rice (white or brown, doesn't matter, it's a hit), homemade bread, mashed potatos...but they also love fruit. Jasmine LOVES blackberries. They go crazy for watermelon and pumpkin and tomatos too. They aren't thrilled about apples but love cucumber, shreaded carrot, and romain lettuce. They aren't really thrilled about strawberries though...bananas are a favorite too.

Mine just want the meat and cheese and when that is gone, they will pick at greens. They don't like bread unless it is corn bread. I wonder why they are such fussy eaters? Maybe it is because they only had feed and free ranged before I got them.
I have discovered that they like cooked macaroni. At least that is a change of pace.
I'm sure I have probably forgotten a few things here, but this is a quick list of likes and dislikes.

mine love carbs too, but they aren't picky and will devour fruit and veggies! Boy oh boy when I throw a earthworm or slug in there...watch out!

Try the following and you may see increased interest in consuming fruit. As a treat provide chopped pieces of smelt (a type of finger sized fish). Do this for a couple days, then provide some fruit options along side the bites of fish. If birds like mine, then they will more readily consume the fruit.
