I tried the black sunflower seeds (for birds)yesterday for a treat,but my babes don't like them. Has anyone else tried them?

How old are they? Mine gobble them down like there was no tomorrow! Mine are adults though.

they are near 22 wks. Guess I've got'em spoiled to other treats.

sometimes it takes a little time before they're willing to try something new

For example, mine wouldn't touch the watermelon, but once I put a little feed on it and they tasted the watermelon, they went nuts for it!

So.. I'd put some sunflower seeds in their feed and go from there. Remember, they don't need much.
