I bought three lovely Silkie hens about a month ago. They had egg on their faces, but it was too cold to do much about it. I tried washing it off last weekend, but it won't come off! I don't think I understand how you get a Silkie's head all wet and soapy. Doesn't it get into their nostrils?? I wiped them with a solution of tear free shampoo and water, then rinsed, but they still look like...
