They have shipped!!!!!

I bet they are HUGE by now. Seems like yesterday you were anxiously waiting for them to get delivered!
They are twice the size of my Runners. - Who deeply regret now they were nasty to them when they were little…
I too can't believe it is just three months ago when they were tiny, cute little fluffballs on legs. I have duckling fever again! »No Honey, we can't go to Cracker Barrel, remember there's a Rural King in Cross Lanes…«

that's funny! i got that coffee mug you got. The one that says "All I care about are my ducks and maybe like 3 people". I'm getting ready to incubate in the next few days. I'm excited.

Good luck! Hatching ducklings is on my list of thing i'd like to do in my life, but for now i am too busy with 13 cheeky teenagers. - And too scared to try.

I did it last year having no clue what I was doing and now I'm nervous about doing it after reading all the awful things that can happen but probably won't. I even did an assisted hatch with one of my eggs and it lived. It's crazy that I'm freaking out over the humidity this year but I am. Maybe it was better not to know ANYTHING!

:lau We have a saying in Germany: »The dumbest farmer will harvest the largest potatoes.«
Sometimes it is really good not to know what all can go wrong. »Don't look down when hanging on the rope…«

AllI can say about incubating is don’t get one of those made in China ones. The instructions make no sense. We were lucky with ours and the muttlings. Magnolia Ducks is trying to use it right now and is pulling her hair out over the controls. She has much more at stake than we did. The Rouen drake she got from us was killed last week. She is trying to hatch two eggs that will be his legacy. Her hen is too stressed and grieving to lay anymore .

I would like to build my own incubator. I'm quite familiar with micro-controllers, sensors, LCD-displays, relays and all that stuff. It will be a fun project sometime in the future…
Yes i read about George! @Magnolia Ducks i wish you great success with the eggs!
