Lol, I ate lots of fried foods. I went to the chicken area/petting zoo area. I saw some Cochins which were blue and black but didn't get pics of them.

sadly they only sold ducks, no chicks because ducks need lots more space and water than chickens. They had a hatching place where the eggs were 21 days in, so they were hatching so all could see. :)
 
wow thats really awesome and those are some gorgeous chickens. Sorry they didn't have any chicks that they were selling. I wonder if ducks could be nice if you raised them like you do chicks? Or are ducks just nasty in general?
 
Ducks aren't nasty, but they usually just like swimming and being by them selves more. More moody I guess, but you definitely can get a friendly duck too. I don't have the space or water for a duck right now :)
 
I don't either but would love some. I've heard duck eggs are pretty yummy too. Oh well. Maybe someday I will live somewhere with a pond and can get some ducks. I will just have to stick to getting some turkeys next year and was thinking about branching out and getting a pig to raise for meat also. We will see how that one goes.
