They live outside now!

Water in the house isn't a good idea. I would put the water in a far corner of the Run and Ducks love noodling and drilling in mud.
Up until yesterday they still lived in the garage, so no water in the house was not an option. They'll definitely get some rearranging and upgrading today in their new pen. I'm already headed to Lowe's for sand, buckets, and more wood and screws.

My ducks are going into a run that has a 20x10 foot section closed off at the end ,with a door .this is where the pool will go . That way I can close it off when we’re no around .We are going to put the pool on pallets , put a brick in pool and a few steps outside of pool

At what age can they swim alone ? Mine are 5 months old .

Mine all swim alone and only 4 weeks. Have been since hatching. I start off with rubber livestock bowls and then kiddie pools. Easy access in and out of pools.

What’s a wire shielded bucket ? I’m going to try half a plastic dog kennel with a heavy soup pot for water, I saw it in here and he said it keeps the floor dry .... it will be trial and error for awhile

What are you feeding? Crumbles or pellets ? I have chickens too in the same coop

Try this instead...of course the bigger the Birds the higher the holes can be. The others I use for Ducklings when small. Less mess.

Ok thanks for your help , I’ve got buckets like that .

I’m from Manitoba, by the way

This I like because there’s a plastic floor under the water station then , my lab drips for 10 feet across the whole kitchen after a drink , not sure what ducks will do
