So sorry that happened. I have gotten used to my DH being absent-minded, so no matter where he is or what he's doing I just naturally check behind him. But I've known him for 35 years and know what he's most likely to do. He probably thinks I hover, but considering how many times I've kept him from burning down the house or injuring himself, it's worth it.
