Thing hanging from my chicken?

That's *very* serious. Time to see a vet or euthanize her yourself. So sorry.

X 2 - this is one of those situations where action, one way or the other, must be taken quickly - for the sake of the bird.

Well **** it then........thank you guys for all your help I guess i'm just gonna have to put her down, I was kinda worried about it when i had seen the blood loss but i had hoped i would have been able to do something for her but i guess gotta play the cards your dealt.

Again thanks for the help guys.

I think even with veterinary care her prognosis would be poor.

Even with the bad news i just wanna thank everyone for the quick help, i had made a dozen calls and texts before i joined this forum and everybody i talked to had no idea what it was. So i wanna think all y'all you really helped me and fast!

Just sorry we couldn't help you to fix her. That would have been much more satisfying. It's not often that we suggest euthanizing a bird or that we are unanimous in our opinions but in this case it is pretty clear cut and I hope that gives you some comfort in doing what is required. Good luck. I know it is not an easy task.

I'm so sorry about your hen
