Things I've duct-taped:

I don't know if this counts, but when I'm doing a crochet project, and the squares have to be all, say 6 inches, I'll cut a piece of duct tape to that length, fold it in half long-ways, and write the measurement on it.

Sure is handy to have in my crochet bag. I lose a lot less tape measures, as well.

I have duct taped a bloody chick butt. Works wonders, falls off by itself.

We also tape the rusty body holes on my husband's farm truck's fenders when it has to go for inspection. They pass it, go figure.

I had to ban duct tape from our home, hubby used it for everything! Cover holes in clothes, hold mirrors on truck and lots more I cant think of now.
My son LOVED gorilla glue, that stuff nasty! lol
