Things I've duct-taped:

I've duct taped the plastic/glass on the styrobators.

I've duct taped gauze on my dog.

I tried to make a chicken tether out of duct tape.

I've duct taped the horse water trough.

I've duct taped my horse's hoof.

I've duct taped a TON of waterhoses.

When I was younger, I put a small square of duct tape on all four of the cat's paws to watch it pick it's feet up really high.

Oh, I'm sure I will think of more later. I'll be sure to post them. Around here, we brag about the uses we find for duct tape.

Holding car windows up, rips in soft jeep tops, and keeping the windshield in place when it popped out of place.

Have you seen the chickens with duct tape saddles?

I've been known to tape a door open that keeps getting closed by the wind.

We also won a national go kart race with the entire fiberglass body that had been shattered held together with "lucky duck tape"!!!

leather seat rip in ds's car. As a scout leader
it's a must when camping for quick fixes. We teach the boys to take a pencil and wind up a reasonable amount and put in their backpacks. My motto......duct tape
and JB weld can fix just about anything.

Checked in with DH. He says he hasn't used it for anything too strange. Racing damage to the hovercrafts mostly. Wiring harness on the trailer. I'm sure he's got more. There are probably a dozen rolls rolling around here!

duct tape makes great chicken saddles, I usually put a piece of cloth under the tape so it doesn't tape directly to the skin, just the feathers works great. DH uses it for almost everything, as for DW40i used to spray my sewing machine with it instead of using oil and it locked it up, cost me 70.00 to get it cleaned, man had to soak it for a week to get all the WD 40 off, from now on its just 3 in one oil marrie

Well, not so much their butts as the top of their tails.

We had a bunch of leghorn chicks that pecked each other terribly.

I would clean the area with soap and water, dry it, BluKote it, then put a good sized strip of duct tape from side to side.

Not only did it inhibit further pecking, it kept the wound covered until it healed and the tape fell off on it's own.

Got the idea from someone here. I cannot take full credit for it.
