Things I've duct-taped:

Ive duct taped metal pipes to trees- i was building a clubhouse with my freind and we wanted to try to collect water

It would be shorter to explain things I haven't duct taped....

One weird thing, though, was a very hard-to-get reordered, and enormous, colostomy bag that a patient was picking at and peeling off. This was NOT taped directly to her skin, but it did slow her down a little and kept the bag from leaking!

I had a patient once that had horrible night sweats. He would duct tape his fentanyl patch down so it wouldn't come off. He ended up giving himself a permanent wax after a few months of this. Maybe I should start using it on my legs...

I tried duct tape for leg hair removal, worked about as well as my attempt with the cold wax/sticky products. Hurt like a (insert your own extremely

lol ~ yah also forgot a bottle of windex ~ :-D ~ duct tape, WD-40, bailin wire AND windex. And if you've ever seen My Big Fat Greek Wedding, you know it cures anything. :-D

oops, ~ forgot to add, I once made a spatula out of duct tape ~ went on a camping trip, forgot the spatula, but did manage to remember duct tape ~ did you know that stuff is pretty darn impervious to grease, heat, and cast iron? Another time, we forgot the spatula, ( no, you'd think we learn, but, no, it takes multiple mess-ups...) and he had his pocket knife handy, and just carved me one ~ best spatula ever, ~ still have it & use it. :-D

I was at a farmer's market over the weekend and there was a little boy selling duck tape wallets he made out of duck tape for $3.00 each. Don't know if he sold any or not.

As a patch for holes in your pants (recommend a piece inside as well as outside, unless you want the adhesive gluing itself to your leg or butt)... and it really goes thru the laundry QUITE a few times that way before coming loose! Ah, grad school...

I can also make a killer duct-tape poultice-boot for horse hooves (for abscesses) that will stay on for a minimum of 36 hours with the horse on 24-hr turnout on hard, icy or gravelly ground. I've had them make it intact for for 4 days, at which time I cut the boot off b/c I figured I ought to check what was going on in there

When you are listing primal household substances (duct tape, WD40, baler wire) don't forget baler TWINE either

Lets see,

I've duct taped my brother and his friends thumbs down...they had a bet going to see who could last the longest without thumbs XD

Also we duct taped my friends little brothers arms and legs together because he kept trying to pull down a saddle club poster in the tack room (he said it was too girly lol!) he then decided he wanted to take a nap (while still taped up) so we put him in a tack box and he slept for a good hour!!
