Things that pet chickens do, that working chickens don't!

Pet chickens get to go on car rides to McDonalds, and they get to go for rides on the motor scooter with my kids. Indy the human chicken likes car rides and has traveled in the car with us. She claims the backseat behind the driver as her own. Our little Bantam Barred Cochin Petunia likes to go for rides on the motor scooter with my older DD. I thought the bird was scared until my DD put her down and turned on the scooter to leave, and Petunia chased after her!

And pet chickens get to come in the house and sit on the chair with their Grandma and some of Grandma's kitties and watch tv. This is my Bantam White Cochin Priscilla. The kittens were some of our rescues from this summer. All were found dying of pneumonia:
