I remember the corner grocery store and the drive-in movie theater.
I had a bike with a banana seat.
We rode in the back of granda's pick up truck.
The car had lap belts only.
We drank soda out of glass bottles.
We played jax on the kitchen floor.
We listened to the radio- and listened to a walkman that played cassett tapes.

What about that paneling on the wall in your pictures!!!! That brings back memories of several homes i lived in!!!!

I read through several pages of this but couldn't get through all of them.....Many were mentioned....8 tracks were a big one and so were 45s.

Alot of those stores except for Sears, new Kmart are gone now. Yep, closed, out of business.

oh oh remember DOS commands for computers .

My grandmother had 1 phone and you had to dial and let it go all the way back before you dialed the next number
when cable first came out it was attached with a cable and you pushed down the buttons
we played handheld games that had dots and x's

My DH and me talk about this stuff all the time
last night I was going out the door and had to find my cell - I said remember when we were dating and there were no cell phone and I would call to let you know if was home safe
I wondered how did we survive ?
