Way back when I lived in town and sold things on the side, if a person didn't show up within a reasonable amount of time, I would lock up and leave. The ones that didn't show up on time never bothered to call back.

I gave up at 5:30 and went and made dinner, then she texted me and asked if 7 was okay. I said yes because I have a LOT of young quail to sell.

I sure hope she buys enough to make it worthwhile.

I talked to someone about buying something from them last night. They acted like I'd need to jump on it cause others were interested. I told them I could come first thing in the morning. Like early cause I had limited time and it was a drive.
Oh, no problem, no problem at all. Told them check for my message in the morning. I'd message by 8 so.get back to me asap after that cause I'd have to get going to make it work.
Again no problem. The got back to me at almost noon and asked if between 12:30 and 1 would work?
I know my early and my morning is probably earlier then some but I'm pretty sure 12:30 to 1 isn't morning anymore. I'd already got up and went in on my day off, worked 1/2 shift and was back home before hearing from them.

I buy more then I sell and most times everything is 45 minutes or more away. I figure how far then add 15 minutes to that time to set up the meet. Then I tell them about how far away I am and ask if they want a heads up message when I get closer and if so how far out.
I don't want someone waiting around on me.

They showed up around 7:15, but they bought 20 birds, so it was worth it.

I went to buy chicks at someone's home. They said to meet them at the end of their driveway, as this was back during Covid.

It's 2 hours from my house, we were about 20 minutes early. I called when it was 10 minutes before the meet time, so that she knew we were there. Got an answering machine.

She was 15 minutes late. To get to the end of her driveway.
