Things you wish you could say

Must have been some driveway!
Nah. I could see the corner of the porch from where we parked. The seller was flaky from the time she got my payment through the rest of it. Her chicks had a "24 hour live guarantee, or money refunded." Nope, one of them died. I called, left a message, never heard a thing. I thought it was probably money well spent not to ever do business with her again.

I don’t even wanna think about my past experiences of buying or selling birds as I’ve only had a few good ones, including @R2elk.

(Thank you, man. I owe you big time.)

ETA: Latest breeder lady that I went to go visit up north of me was busting her butt trying to keep track of all her **** and I just stood around there for a half hour to 45mins or so on her property, patiently waiting for her to show up while also pulling stickers off her Great Pyrenees dog and staring at all her cats in the driveway.

How many cats is too many cats? 🤷🏼‍♀️

And birds…Ahh, ****…
Once upon a time I had a blind date. She was telling me she had to hide her phone (no cell phones at that time) because her cat would chew the cord off. At that time she had 20 cats in a small trailer house.

That was too many cats for me.

In that case…Then I might as well tell you the story about the crazy lady I know who used to own a bunch of wild animals nearby me.

Once upon a time, we donated a blind mare to this woman to care for…And when we went to go check up on her we did not expect what we saw. The mare was doing fine, but this lady was running her own personal illegal zoo and had a ton of other dangerous animals on her property that she kept in small cages so long story short…She opened up one of the cages to let me pet her wildcats and I did…Until I almost got my neck chewed off and then she slammed the cage door shut.

We didn’t report her but I’m sure you can imagine what happened next. I was still in elementary school at the time…
