Things you wish you could say

Wow this thread is long and popular. Now I'm pitching in with several things.

First: I hate country people in my country! Because it's the country side they think they can leave their dogs unleashed and take them out with then to pasture their sheep and these damn dogs look for chicks or chickens or small eggs to eat!!! I put up my wire fence which does keep out "bigger" animals like sheep, but the smaller or thinner dogs still can get in. Every time I see any dog near my property I wish I could shoot it with a riffle (that I don't have) even if the owner is just walking right next to it 🤬. If I had money I'd build a 6 meter tall wall around our property and would plant nopales or magueyes around it do that any animal o person that came by would suffer their needles.
Oh I also hate tourists that bring their pet dogs and think because it's the countryside they can also unleash their dogs!!!!
I hate dogs!! Arrogant bastards that bark at anything that moves even if you are 100mts away. Why can't people train their dogs so they won't be a nuisance?!??!
Oh an I hate people that have children and don't educate them to be polite and well mannered. The whole children rights thing made younger parents think that positive reinforcement is the clue, when you just need a good spank at the right time to stop these willful little monsters from becoming a menace to society!!! I hate kids that scream and cry to get attention, wish I could spank them myself till they get the point 😡

Not the quote I was looking for, but it applies. This is not a modern problem.

Lead by example and hold others to the same standards. I address unmannered children in stores. Nary a parent has confronted me. I showed them how to do their job.

I just don't do it because the town is small and don't want enemies close, you never know when you may chastise the son or daughter of some politician or gangster or just plain evil person that walks around unchecked.
And here in this Pueblo, we'll the poor uneducated adults are stupidified by wanting to give their children all the toys or commodities that they think the children would have had they grown up in a city with more "opportunities".
Had a talk with some of these parents and told them their children are better off away from the cities where spoiled brats consume alcohol, drugs and what not.

Oh BTW, drugs are NOT normal, they are NOT a college thing and do not heighten pleasure or make you feel like your problems go away!!! Be mature and handle things like a balanced intelligent human being.
Whatever happened to that perspective (even in US 90's TV shows like the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air or Saved by the Bell) where drugs were frowned upon?!?!? I GREW UP IN THE 90'S, NEVER HAD DRUGS OR CIGARETTES AND DON'T DRINK, my classmates all did do those things and it's NOT an excuse to say you do them because you were surrounded by it!! Have the balls to say no!!! Peer pressure and belonging to a group of rotten backstabbing "friends" is NOT AN OPTION; I decided I was better of alone than being with those gangsters. Got me farther than any of them by the way; had a high school classmate that died in a crash because they were drunk driving; fat lot of good it did you huh?!?!

I do this too...most often the parents show a grateful look in their eyes.
It's not that you are doing/showing them their job,
it's often that another/'strange' adult speaking to the child garners more attention from the child.
You're backing the parent up.
It takes a village.

While I do agree that it's a very bad idea to consume any substance because of peer pressure, addiction is often not much of a choice. There are so, so many people who would have outright committed suicide had they not been able to get some relief via substances.

So there is this family who are best friends with the rest of my family, but not with me. Their oldest child, who is my age, and their 2nd child, who is a few years younger than me, can both be really mean to me sometimes. They are basically your average annoying teen boy. I don't have a problem with them, but they always seem to have a problem with me. so anyways, I would like to ask them:

"As far as I can tell, there are three reasons u r mean to me. 1. you don't know how to behave around girls, 2. you are just very immature, or 3. You secretly have a crush on my and you don't know how to behave around me"

I can imagine their looks of horror if I ever tell them this. I think I would probably scare them if I said this :gig*evil laughter*

I was bullied all throughout my childhood years, then in high school I was an outcast because I didn't fit in, later on my parents started having troubles and my brother and I got caught in the middle of their emotional fights (there was no physical violence thank God, but the emotional side was there) I thought of committing suicide several times (the only thing that had kept me happy as a child, which was my family, was breaking down) I couldn't get into the college I wanted because of some technical issues with revalidating my studies because my parents had put us into an international school which had a different system than the government in my country had for education (they were basically asking me to repeat a year of high school when my grades were up in the 90 percentile). I was having discussions/fights daily with my mom because she wanted me to repeat the year. But I never sought drugs because it's only a quick fix that doesn't solve anything long term. So instead I looked for activities that I liked and worked towards what I wanted, went into baking classes in an institution until I could fix my papers, and go to a culinary arts college. And concentrating and working towards my goal is what got me over the deep depression I was dealing with daily. Still think that "drugs/alcohol" will help you forget your problems is a stupid way out, it DOES NOT SOLVE ANYTHING, so as soon as you come back to reality the same problems are there and you have to deal with them anyways, you are just fooling yourself for whatever time you have you psychedelic trip.

They aren't super mean, its more annoying. The problem is that we see them like 3 times a week (my siblings and them are really close friends [I don't see how]). I'm not the kind of person who gets emotional of flustered when ever they tease me, more like I want to punch them in the face. I actually don't even know if they know that they are being mean, they just are.
