Things you wish you could say

If they're calling from a different number every time, they're spoofing, likely from a call center in India, and aren't legit. They don't care, and if you call them or take their call, they're just selling your number as a live one.

The best thing you can do is block the number and ignore the call.
Agree. Yes, India.

Back to the work number and must answer calls. Talked with Tech help and they had no suggestions because of the spoofing.

I feel better.

... We got three calls in two days from a woman who sounded Indian last week. It was a scam, too.

I had one guy who was so offended that I called him a scammer that he called me back just to call me a "dumb B$#@%"

I have a different approach to these calls. As soon as they are done their first part of the spiel, I ask them to tell me all about it. Then I put the phone down on the desk or whatever, without hanging up, and wait to see how long it takes them to figure it out. They waste my time. I waste theirs.

And I'm so glad we aren't charged by the minute for cellular phones anymore.

People would get offended paying to be harassed by a telemarketer. I know I do.

I had a common one the other day tell me he was with my cell phone provider and could reduce the amount I was paying. I asked which cell phone provider was I with. (He said he worked for that company.) He said "Oh, Verizon or Sprint". Without warning I screamed F@*# YOU into the phone and hung up. Had I not been on the on ramp of the Interstate I may have played along a little longer.
Also, It's best to just hang up. If you answer 'YES" to even an an innocuous question, that can be spliced into a verbal contract and you have agreed to God knows what.

I just got word from my internet friend. He is a Nigerian Prince who is stranded and promised me 10 million dollars if I can help him out of a bind. I think my problems will soon be over. :yesss:
Once you get that money, PM me. I have ocean front property in Arizona for sale :lau
