Things you wish you could say

Now, unfortunately, no one I know will cull him (my brother said no this morning) because the rooster is too old to eat, and no one will kill it just to make my life easier (which is not what I wanted, at all).
I use older roosters for soup. They make the best and most flavorful soups.

I currently have 4 roosters in my flock but my birds have a huge coop and an even bigger run (50' x 100') with lots of places for hiding.

I have listed my small roo on Craigslist, within minutes I had someone interested. I don't know if it will actually amount to anything, but I hope so! :fl

I can't do another day of doing nothing but crying from sheer frustration, as this is not helping my already crumbled mental health. I even put it in the listing that if someone wants to eat him, I just don't want to be informed of it.

My Pixel 5's wireless hasn't completely died. I think it got dropped one too many times. I've restarted the phone, I've reset the wireless settings to scratch, etc. It connects and shows great connectivity, but it basically as about a 5 mbps connection.

Can you try a factory reset?
I can, but I'm trying to avoid that since that means I have to reconfigure everything. I did find something interesting. All of my devices connect to the same network, and none of the others are having any issue. Just for giggles, I turned my hotspot on from my main phone, and then connected the pixel 5 to it. It gets connectivity just fine with the hotspot network. I then went into the settings for my wifi network and set it as unmetered, but still horrible network connectivity. This started yesterday, and nothing has changed on the network.

I did try changing to other networks yesterday and this morning with no change, but all of my wifi networks are using the same router and WAP.

Restarting the router and WAP seems to have resolved the issue. I think it's really weird that only one device was affected.

If he only has a problem with other roosters, you can try rehoming him. Dunno how much luck you'll have as it can be difficult to find a home for an extra roo, but it's worth a shot. Unfortunately when 2 roos don't get along the only real solutions involve removing one from the flock as they will more likely than not eventually fight again
My old Roo and his son got along for a long time, then one day it all changed and they both started fighting. And wouldn’t stop.

After many months I was able to rehome the son, which was a huge relief to me and the old Roo.

I was also able to rehome another young Roo!

There is one more young Roo I need to rehome, he is a glorious boy, over 10lbs so he is too large for my hens and pullets. I am hoping he gets a nice new home with a flock of his own.

But it’s hard people don’t want Roos.
