or worse, you DO give them a bunch of gifts for the kids, thinking the kids will be ecstatic, you gave them an awesome Christmas, only to 2 days later, find many of the gifts at the local pawn shop, with the Merry Christmas from XX group tag still on it and you know darned well that Twitchy and Scratchy, the kids meth head parents are the ones who did that.
Yes, agreed, it does make you lose hope in this disease called humanity.

Had to laugh at Twitchy and Scratchy just because of the mental image, but people like that tick me off, hence the angry face. Those poor kids.

Definitely agree, we kind of knew the situation, hence the wanting to help the KIDS, and trying to get gifts that the parents could not 'cash in' on so easily, like 2 brand new bicycles, a playstation or whatever it was, instead of like gift cards etc, but to no avail, the druggies figured out a way to take it from their kids anyways. Sadly there is not much one can do then either, you can't go behind the parents back and give the kids stuff, the parents would just essentially steal it and pawn it, it's really a sad situation. Pretty much everyone in that town 'knows' the situation over there as well, so well, you just have to cry inside and accept that some things you can't fix. not giving the kids stuff next year, the silver lining is, you are depriving the parents of drug money, so maybe something good might happen :: or maybe something bad, you prevented.....

And I'd tell you to make two batches and mix them together!
