She's a 1940"s model. A definite exception to the rule as was her mother, our daughter, and our granddaughter. Strong willed/free minded women folk. MIL even took on and defeated the priests at the Catholic church. They did get even in the end.

A 40's model, excellent. That's back when they built them to last a life time. Much better then the throw away models they're making now.

I tried a swamp cooler last year but it’s so humid here it’s just a waste.

Best thing I found were my box fans and my huge barn fan - silkies were not thrilled but soon learned not to walk broadside to the “breeze”

Water bottles frozen and wrapped in a towel for them to roost on. Fans, shade….

Well, with men it is much more accepted than women.

We are expected to always be polite, sensual, forgiving, always consider others needs and wishes first and put them above our own etc. etc.
