I have a video of my last flock getting taken out by a gaze of 6 of those things. They are cute, but as you said, they are chicken murdering machines. I am ready for the day when I catch one or more of them.

Theyre just doing what they do but i totally get it and dont think id react any differently. My coop is locked down like Fort knox so I'm not overly worried but will sleep easier when the snow melts and I can put the electric fence up.

I realized a long time ago that people don't hate me, they hate something about me that set them off. If they bothered to look past that moment/incident/impression, there would be no "hate." Unfortunately, haters are too lazy or too shallow to make the effort, so the limited vision feeds itself.
It's a "them" problem, M'Dear, not a "you" problem. Write them off and move on.
And although I can and will say this to anyone who will listen, I still "wish I could say" it to everyone who feels the negativity of someone else's shallow heart and mind.
