Are they in your house? They have gotten in ours a few times during certain times of the year and it’s always horrible although we haven’t had any in a while thankfully. What I HAVE noticed lately though is that any time I sit in the grass, I get at least one, sometimes 3, crawling on me! I freak out and flick them off they gross me out. Plus I’m worried they’ll bite despite just being “regular” ants.

They are everywhere in my house. The swarms come either during floods or severe heat/dry times. It's been really hot and they're all over my cat's food and my kitchen. I've placed ant baits out. The baits are already black with ants. Which is awful enough, but I keep finding them on me. I even found some in my teapot this morning!

Oh wow that is horrible!!! I could not deal with that. That’s like my worst nightmare. I hate bugs. They creep me out so bad. Hopefully you can get rid of them soon!

I have to leave them alone while they're taking the poison back to their nest. Hopefully that means they'll all die in a couple of days. That would make me happy.

I don't care if they hang out outside. They can raid my compost pile. I just can't stand them in my house.

Hopefully it works and they’ll be dead! I don’t think I could wait like that.

And yeah that makes sense! I’m usually the same but lately they seem to keep finding me! We have like 3 acres and yet every time I sit down somewhere, they’re on me! Do ants defend their nests? I wonder if that’s why? If I’m near one? They’re not fire ants though, just regular. But every time I sit in the grass in our yard or a rock near the edge of the woods or anywhere, they’re INSTANTLY on me. It’s so weird!!! At least it’s not ticks though?

Yes, it is a feature of this particular rose. There are other varieties that also change color.

Quite likely true. I have had a honey bee crawl into a very uncomfortable location and had to stay very still until it left. I was sitting cross legged on the ground at the time...

I used to get the big red flying ants in the house every summer when they swarmed. I found their original nest , poisoned it and have not had any in the house since.

Honeybees crawling on me is not a problem. When they get in my hair, I immediately squash them. if left alone, they will get tangled in my hair and then they will sting.
