I just googled some videos of what people have done. The electrified sign was great and then another guy had a fishline connected from the sign to a mouse trap/battery/firecracker setup, so when they took the sign, the firecrackers were triggered to go off.

We did something like that. The sign had an alarm connected to it that was rigged to go off if it was taken and these people must have cut the line
