Sad, very sad. maybe never had good bacon? How about Canadian bacon? Not the real thing, but not terrible.
German ancestors! Bacon, absolutely!!!

I have tried plenty of bacon that people claim is good. It smells okay, but always tastes awful. Not a fan of Canadian bacon, either.

And I'm mostly German, too.

This is why I wish I could say it, because I knew this would happen. I am not saying to keep aggressive roosters around,I'm saying to give them a chance, don't just kill them after 1 episode

Those poeple clearly need their heads examined. Bacon is love, bacon is life. Therefore, bacon grease is love by extension, and brings life to all it touches.

In fact, I'm having baby portabellas sauteed in bacon grease with crumbled bacon and garlic as one of the sides with dinner tonight.

Don't keep a aggressive rooster around, I never said to, but if he jumps at you once or runs at you once why would you kill him then? Why not see if it's just a freak accident? If it keeps up then do what you please.
