Things you wish you could say

WHY IS HR ALWAYS THE LAST TO KNOW?!?

:barnie
Oh, I know this one!
Cause HR causes new problems that involve more paperwork. We'd like to solve the problem before it gets that "bad". If in the event it blows up and does get that bad, they know how to handle the worse mess and it makes them feel needed.

I tried to explain that HR is my friend and keeps me out of "worse problems." Boils down to who is your HR. :hmm

HR is on the company's side, not the employees'.

Yup.

But it's over and I don't have to deal with it anymore! :yesss: :clap:celebrate
Similar problem to mine. The President's Wife's Bestie was HR. The President's wife was the billing/shipping/customer coordinator. I reported to the President. They got fired for embezzlement when the new accounting manager ratted them out to the owners.

The new President went through a string of HR people. My favorite was the one that chained smoked. She made it to lunch and elected to not return. Finally got a good one for a few years. She left also. I left after that.

Oh, the drama of a small company! I stayed 10 years on promises that never came true. Lot's of potential. My bank account is lacking because of it.
