Ask your parents. Ask your girlfriend. Ask your girlfriend's parents. Ask your coworkers. I'm willing to bet that none of them will say that it's normal to go months without cleaning the bathroom.

My entire family says that! I reuse my bath towel for a set amount of days before I throw it in the wash. But I do not dry certain areas with it, or I consider it instantly dirty and I refuse to use it again until I have cleaned it. I have to regularly go through the house and collect all towels and washcloths and chuck them in the washer or they would never be washed.

I'm going to have to sneak in upstairs one day to snag the shower curtain to throw into the wash. Those need to be washed now and then too, and the liners changed.
