Things you wish you could say

The people that replace words with numbers drive me crazy too! B4 for before, 2 for to, etc. How much time did you really save by using the number, seriously?
I could kind of understand that if they're texting using one of the old phone pads. On those you had to hit the same key multiple times to get the letter that you wanted. Other than that? I refer back to Weird Al's "Word Crimes".

Stray cats are unwelcome everywhere, in my opinion! They crap everywhere, kill birds, get into my trash, and drive my dog crazy! Dogs would never be allowed to roam free like cats are. Ugh, I hate them, hence my .22 sitting by my back door
I read earlier you worked in a school cafeteria. Me too.
Things I wish I could say are endless. 🤣 how about the ones that complain about portion sizes and they are still hungry..
But won't touch a fruit or veggie with a 10 foot pole.

How about the kids who's parents packed their lunch, only to have the kid open the lunch box and its empty! Or when you tell a kid they have to go back and get a fruit or veggie and they come back with a pudding:th

Or the school nurses kid who brings their lunch because her mom says it's more nutritious than School food..
And she has a lunchable, pudding cup, Doritos and capri sun to drink.
Nutritious! :lau

Or before meals were all free...
Some of the kids on free lunches seem to have enough money every day to buy seconds or extra drinks and ice cream every day. And some of them clearly could stand to lay off the cheeseburgers.
I told my very overweight roommate's pet that he's probably malnourished. He eats practically nothing but pasta and bread. He won't touch a fruit or veggie. He just got mad at me.

You can be overweight and still be malnourished.

I do have to say though,
with elementary school students there is a little merit to the idea of making them take a fruit or vegetable. I have actually seen a significant increase in the fruits and vegetables elementary students will eat and enjoy versus in the past they wouldn't even put it on their plate. I think a lot of parents just will not expose their kids to certain fruits and vegetables at home if they don't like it themselves, they just don't buy it so the kids don't even know they might like it.
but I think by the time they get to high school they know what they like and there's no point in just throwing it away.
