Things you wish you could say

My friend Autumn started Pretty n Steel (Etsy store) I bought lamps, boot jack, coat rack and decorative cross from her when she was just starting out. I always paid over what she asked because I KNEW I was getting a good product for the price. A year into it, she was bummed about hitting a plateau in sales. I convinced her to raise her prices 30%

She sells to Australia, New Zealand, UK and Canada all the time now.

Know your worth. True friends will support you by buying from you. Not exploiting you.
There is a market where the buyers will refuse to even look at anything that is below their price level.

As far as pets go, he's pretty low maintenance. As far as a fiance goes, he's terrible. I hope you figure it out before it's too late.
I know plenty of people who "married down", an antiqued idea, I know but none the less true.
Sad and frustrating to watch since you know they can do better than THAT.
I call EEs genetic potlucks. Because there's always the family that brings the weird thing that no one else wants to a potluck
Like that weird ramen-jello-cabbage-hot dog thing.

Was it me? Sound like something I would do while tired 😅! Especially after the person ahead was supper difficult. You kind of get in a routine and when someone says something you’re not expecting, you’re like, “That’s great! 😁😁😁” then it hits you, “Wait, what? That person...Oh well... NEXT!” 😅😅😅
That makes so much sense! :)
To be clear, I wasn't mad at them - I know if I was in their spot, and was tired, I'd most likely do the same thing! I apologize if I came off as rude or upset about it! I honestly didn't mind at all, if anything it reminded me to be appreciative of how hard people work, even those jobs like helping people check out that I often take for granted! It makes me think of how hard they must be working, plus taking the time to be friendly and cheerful, even when they're exhausted! My heart goes out to those people - they're so amazing! 💖

Oh no! I’m not upset at all! We’re all human (some more than others I think) and there’s experiences on both sides. In fact, the most I was pointing out is that it’s pretty silly to ask if everything was found! Seriously.

Working with the public is hard where ever it is, from a cashier to a bank teller to just delivering goods. I tell you, I would NEVER want a job on the phone. Of course this isn’t even mentioning working with fellow co-workers.

❤️

You can't make a bird broody U don't care if the breed is known to be broody and I don't care if it's spring and they're laying eggs. If they don't feel like brooding, they won't brood

The same with if a broody hen decides to brood. There is no instant “stop-a-brood” product you can use. Sometimes an egg won’t even start bloodiness; there are times when all you need is a bantam rooster who’s ill. Talking about you, Bug!

These were mentioned already, but I'm going to say them again.

Before you reply to a thread, read through the whole thing. What is the point in saying something if it has already been said, or if the problem was already solved?

Also, before you reply, check the date of when the thread was posted. No one needs advice months or years after the question was asked.
