Things you wish you could say

I posted a classified ad for selling hatching eggs for pickup only. 5 times out of 9, I'm asked to deliver, and 3 times out of 5 someone wants only green eggs, and 6 times out of 12 it's someone wanting to buy a pullet who lays green eggs. I couldn't even tell you who the green layers are. I'd be embarrassed to admit that, these people obviously think I'm some kinda chicken farmer (who would be willing to drive 2 hours to sell a dozen eggs).

What about the people who think you get your eggs “for free”. :lau

Does anyone else think it’s rude when you gift people eggs & they don’t give you the carton back? I’ve started gifting eggs in plastic sour cream, cottage cheese & salsa containers. At least the plastic sort of gets a second use.

I am getting back more cartons than I give out.

I'm in that boat. And then there's the awesome neighbor that saves the cartons from the store all winter and then gives them to you when you deliver that first dozen. :celebrate

I have one lady I trust with my nice cartons. She returns them. If the carton gets too old, I cut the picture off and glue it to a diff carton. (Not for sale, just for fun.)
