In my house the hunting spiders are allowed to stay (I love those to bits!) but I evict the daddy long legs and white tails. I have nothing against spiders at all but they make waaay too many webs

I would have said "A person who constantly asks for your advice, but always ignores it for their preconceived ideas," but that was what I found.

I call that shopping for their preferred answer. They didn't get the answer they wanted, so they try again. You get that on helpdesk support lines too. The user doesn't like the answer they got, so they call in again hoping to get a different agent who will give them the answer they want.
