As a food service / retail worker, there's a *lot* of things I wish I could say.

But I like being employed, so I don't.

I’m tired of when people, when identifying a bird, say something stupid and then say it’s just their opinion.
Let me elaborate with an example.

Say the thread has a pic of a Delaware hen, and you (the offending person) say you think it’s a Splash Marans. And I say, “Oh, actually, it’s a Delaware because it has a barred columbian pattern,not a splash one, and it has clean yellow legs, instead of feathered pink ones.” And you reply, “Well, it’s my opinion.”
Yes, you can have your dumb opinions, but the bird is either one thing or the other.
There’s no debate. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and has the genome sequencing of a duck, you have no business calling it a peacock. You can’t put a forcefield up around your words by calling it your ‘opinion’. You’re either right or wrong.
People, people. I’m tired of people.
