Things you wish you could say

I want to try waitressing, but as Bill pointed out, the biggest tips are given to those with a pretty face/body. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am looking into applying also at the big bookstore, BAM, in Concord. I am nerdy enough to know the store inside and out, and I am people-y enough to be able to actively engage customers readily. It is, I believe, $14 hour, for a set schedule. Every day I am scheduled at the resort I have to wait until about an hour before my shift starts to even know if I am going in, or if I am not needed and will be staying home. The upside to retail is that you are ALWAYS needed.

He is not paying it. He can, but he does not. His resort turns a profit every year, and he pockets that profit. He does not even put it back into the resort! Peeling wallpaper, broken tubs, beds that collapse in the middle of the night, and broken faucets are not something someone should deal with if they have spent $500+ to stay in a small room with half of the amenities closed down.
Ya, you should probably just quietly walk away from that place.

Holy moly! How is he even still in business!?

Male, female, attractive, not - do your job - I observe whether you are overworked or not - perform well, and I tip well.

I wouldn't last a day. The Princess early in our marriage was a waitress. She does not know how to do 'fake nice'. One day after interacting with a table of lawyers, the boss's wife fired her. The boss immediately rehired her as she was walking out the door and told the lawyer's to find another place to eat in the future.
Nice boss. The husband, not the wife

So, go apply there. There are loads of places that are hiring that anyone looking for a job has their pick of the litter

This is true here in Canada - there is a severe shortage of wait-staff for all food establishments. They are offering some serious incentives here. I would look into this if you want to do this. 💕❤️

Which one are you talking about? Waitressing, or BAM? Bam has no openings except for manager positions at the moment (they said to try again in the spring), and I did apply for the waitressing job. ☺️
