Hmm that’s a good point but tbf there was only one bagel left in the bag and they were quite old cause I haven’t been eating as many lately so wasn’t like I tossed a whole bag of brand new ones but I do see your point. I probably could or even should have cut the mold off but at that point I was so grossed out and startled by it that I didn’t think of that. Not to mention I was about to hurl lol

I don’t think anyone will blame you for throwing out one moldy bagel.

Good point!!! A lot of places just throw their pastries or whatever food away at the end of the day instead of doing something with them.

DD worked for Chick fil a and they probably throw out more than they serve. I'm sure that is standard in the industry.
They are very limited when it involves giving away or selling waste.
