I put one heaping tablespoon of sweetener (fake sugar), two level tablespoons of oil and two level tablespoons of vinegar (ACV or regular vinegar) in a container. Then cut up a salad (lettuce, sliced radishes,peeled and sliced carrots), put lid on container and shake very well. Refrigerate and shake again before serving.

So true. Those who refuse to learn from the mistakes of the past are doomed to repeat them until they do. Ask me how I know. I was single and celibate for ... seven years before I found this jewel of I man to whom I have been married now for 14 years. Whew! Thank You, Jesus! Best wishes to your daughter.

Lessons keep coming around until you learn them.

If you're lucky, you learn from someone else's mistake and don't have to make that mistake yourself.

Then there's the little smack on the wrist, and Life says, "Hey, don't do that."

After that, maybe Life sits you down and has A Talk with you.

If that doesn't get through, you might get a smack across the face. Or a whack upside the head.

If you really haven't gotten a clue, you might have a heavy price to pay. Prison? Rest of your life missing someone? Or missing physical parts of your body?

If you still haven't learned, the next time might cost you your life.

And because Life isn't fair, some people pay the ultimate price the first time.
