Things you wish you could say

Wish I could say that I reached my goal on my project, but I'm way behind. It also got a lot harder, which means I should put in more time, but the garden and other seasonal things are sucking up my time.

You and me both!

I'm always excited for spring, but when I start drowning in projects by May, I start looking forward to fall!

Depends. What's your humidity? Ours is "only" 63% right now but it's often 100%. With lightning, thunder, hail, high winds and, oh, yeah - the occasional tornado. Still wanna swap?

I'll skip the tornados, thanks. Dust devils and Twister (the movie... and maybe the game) are the closest I want to be.

As far as humidity... weather app says 20%. But I don't know how accurate it is to my exact area.

There's honestly a lot of things I wish I could say this week, they could mostly be summed up as one long frustrated scream into the void though. It has just been a week.

A nice, gentle rain cooled things down today.


Rain did cool things down, but I came the closest I have EVER been to a lightning strike in my life today. Then a few minutes later, I saw a straight, purple line strike the hill in front of me. Then the skies opened up and poured. I didn't last long, but it really did help cool things down.

They're performance summer tires. Soft sticky compound. Less than 10k miles on them and they're otherwise fine. I need to have my tire guy look at it tomorrow but I think it's too close to the shoulder to plug.

Yep, that would be too close to the sidewall here. That totally sucks.
