I don't think someone doing their outside chores at 8:00 pm is rude at all. It's much cooler then and easier to do it. At least he maintains his property, lots of people don't

Oh he’s not maintaining his property, he’s out in the back bush cutting back paths for his quad. He thinks he’s a big game hunter.

He makes enough noise all. year. long to drive all the deer away. And the turkeys. I used to enjoy seeing the deer hanging out in the paddocks with the horses, or just on the other side of the fence; and turkeys used to ramble on through.

Not anymore.

But if he is happy to spend his time getting eaten alive by black flies and mosquitoes cutting back brush then more power to him.

When he goes out back (to get a deer) in the Fall, I bring the horses in. My BIL and his brother meanwhile got get me a moose and deer up north

Did I mention we were Newfoundlanders?

Um… I do now. I’ll put it back outside (where my girls can’t see it). I do know the birds are protected, which is why I limit myself to using bad language when they do fly-bys.
