Yep. You do a good job and everyone wants you to continue. At some point, say "No thank you" and mean it.

Dad had to extricate himself from some volunteer positions. Problem was he was good at them and no one else stepped up.

I started to read them. I was havening a bit of a even worse day since another site I liked disappearified, but it made my day better.
A bit of trivia - Keeper of Tickets (the original person who created the site) is now a senior editor for Ars Technica. The forums have shrunk to a small, close knit group of people, who are a lot of fun to hang out with. Lee, (Keeper of Tickets) passed the ownership of the forums on several years ago to me, and I am now the keeper of the forums.

BYC: Describe the injury, what happened? Can you post pics?
Person: He's really bad, I don't know how this happened, what should I do?
BYC: Post pics of the injuries.
Person: I'm really worried, is he going to die?
BYC: Can you describe the injuries?
Person: . . .
 
That my two neighbors didn't constantly feel the need to cut down every tree, shrub, bush, and flower against our shared property lines. And use the loudest possible equipment. And do it for days on end.
