Wow, school started here August 4th

Our county fair is the last full week of August and less than half our students would show up to school if we had it sooner. So, we always start the week after fair. 4H is huge around here

Completely as an aside-

@tripletfeb have you read any Liane Moriarty books? I just read her first novel “Three Wishes” and I thought of you and your sisters

To be clear, schools are out by Memorial Day here, I grew up in the north and know that is not the case there!

Our school used to get out before Memorial Day and now we get out the week of. Still pretty early
