Well that depends on when I can find a new j.o.b.

So far no nibbles, but then I am very fussy were I will go, so I patiently apply and wait for that new opportunity. No sense leaving one place of misery for another! Better the devil you know!

Don’t get me wrong, the people are great, but they are so inefficient and disorganized. I tried to make changes to bring them into the 21 century but nope, add to that the rotten pay and vacation time and lacklustre benefits….. so I stay until a better opportunity arrives.

Sir, if knowledge of all the products we sell and their applications was a requirement for working here we would be paid a lot better than we are (we're paid fairly well for retail but still) and we'd have a much harder time filling vacancies. I'm a part timer at a hardware store tasked with checking people out and stocking shelves, of course I am not required to know anything about what jump starter works with a dump truck or anything about dump trucks or any other vehicle. I can probably help you with your computer but I know very little about tools and nothing about cars and especially nothing about dump trucks, that's just not why they hired me

The internet is your friend, that or ask your boss or the company's mechanic, they're more likely to know than some part timer at a hardware store

I didn't get dragged into a production issue at 06:30, causing me to not be able to let the pigs and dog out until 08:30, resulting in all 3 of them peeing on my kitchen floor.

Not their fault, when you gotta go, you gotta go, and they did what they had to. Just sucks cleaning it up.
